Richard Eugene “Trip” Rollins, III, the son of Richard Eugene “Rick”, II, and Shirley (Sickler) Rollins, was born May 24, 1982 in Denver, Colorado. Trip attended Frederick High School, Frederick, Colorado and later received his GED in Maryville, Missouri.

On August 6, 2004, Trip was united in marriage to Amber Koldeway in Firestone, Colorado. They became the parents of two children, Alyssa and Tanner.

Trip was employed by Kawasaki, Maryville, where he worked in shipping and receiving. He was very passionate about his job.

When Trip wasn’t working, you could find him fixing motorcycles and cars. He loved to free hand draw and family meant everything to him. Trip passed away Sunday, December 5, 2021, in St. Joseph, Missouri, at the age of 39.

Trip was preceded in death by father, Rick Rollins; grandparents, Richard “Dick” Rollins, I, Herbert and Leta Sickler, and Dorothy and Ken Campbell; long-time friend, Virgil Eastwood. Survivors include wife, Amber Rollins, Tarkio, Missouri; children, Alyssa and Tanner Rollins, both of Tarkio; mother, Shirley Rollins, Tarkio; sister, Debbie (Larry) Howard, Greeley, Colorado; niece, Kami (Landon) Jones, and their children, nephew, Kyle (Dani) St. Michel, and their daughter; aunt and uncle, Karen and Denny Niles, Tarkio; numerous cousin and dear friends.

Private family memorial service and inurnment will be held at a later date.
