William Michael Bell
February 27, 1960 - March 16, 2010
Memorial services were held at Acheson & Graham Garden of Prayer Mortuary in Riverside, CA, for William Michael Shanahan Bell, 50, of Riverside, CA. Mr. Bell died unexpectedly of a massive heart attack on Tuesday, March 16, 2010, at his home in Riverside. Born in Munich, Germany, on February 27, 1960, Mr. Bell lived in Riverside for 35 years. He was CEO of Redcloak Enterprises, Inc., in Riverside.
Mr. Bell graduated from Poly High School in 1978 and then earned a bachelor’s degree from New Mexico Military Institute in 1980. He then served his country in the U. S. Army as a Company Commander in the 26th Infantry Division in Germany.
Mr. Bell was a Knight Templar, a member of the Supreme Military Order of the Temple of Jerusalem, Grand Preceptory of North America. He donated much of his time to charity and was active in animal rescue. He enjoyed and played many sports including tennis, basketball, swimming, football and golf.
Mr. Bell is survived by his parents, Colonel (Ret.) William H. and Suzanne S. Bell of Riverside; sisters, Suzanne (Javier) Bell de Garcia of Long Beach, CA, and Kathleen (Richard) Bell-Conine of Zebulon, NC; godson and nephew, Alexander Garcia Bell of Long Beach; uncles, Francis (Charlotte) Shanahan of Ft. Pierce, FL, and Daniel (Virginia) Shanahan of Carlsbad, CA; several cousins; and his beloved cocker spaniel companion, Precious.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society.
Graveside Memorial Services will be held Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at Home Cemetery, Tarkio, Missouri.
Military rites under the auspices of Allen-Schiffern American Legion Post # 199, Tarkio.
Services under the direction of Davis Funeral Home, Tarkio.
