Blaine, Betsy and I read of Dale's passing in the Avalanche, which we just received. Dale was a long time great friend and partner of our father's when we were growing up in Tarkio. We remember taking rides to Peckville to see the crops, sometimes getting stuck, and Dale would help us out. Our condolences to you. Dale will be missed by the Shaum family. Blaine, Betsy and Paul Shaum

At age ten in 1962, he taught me to do something off a bridge, at least twenty feet down, that I thought no one had ever done. Our Christmas card one year contained a yardstick - a twig from the yard. Today he's rejoined the card game to again torment Grandma Goose as he did so well. He leaves us saddened by his passing but also with the greatest treasure, our senses of humor. Rest in Peace Uncle Dale. Our sincerest condolences to Janet, Bob, Sue and Families.

Bob and Janet . . sorry to hear about your Dad's passing but am glad we were able to visit him recently. He sure loved passing his time by watching his Missouri Tigers and Kansas City Royals!! Am sure he is having a fun reunion in heaven with your Mom, Cara, Grandpa and Grandma, and Dad!

Janet, you and your entire family have my deepest sympathy. I have such fond memories of your dad's seemingly constant smile and his patience as he tended to your mom as she went about all the things she like to do and places she wanted to be.

Janet, Bobby Dale, Suzie & family, I am so sorry for the loss of your dad and grandpa (Patrick, Jonathan, Rachel)and my Uncle Dale. I was not able to grow up knowing him like I would have liked to but I love him dearly and have many, many, fun, loving memories of my Missouri family and Uncle Dale in particular...he could make me laugh like no other : ) I love you all and you are in my thoughts and prayers as always but especially at this time as God leads you through this season in life.
