I am saddened to learn of the death of a friend and fellow member of La Societe des 40 Hommes et 8 Chevaux (The 40 and 8 Society) .... Grand Chef de Gare Passe of the Grande Voiture du Missouri Donald E. Adams. Don was a loyal and dedicated member of this veteran's organization and his work and leadership will always be a legend and inspiration to us. Knowing that Don is now in the Garden of God, may I express my deepest sympathy to his wonderful wife Janett and the entire Adams Family!

I was very saddened to hear that Don had passed. I have known you both for many years through my parents and our gatherings at the legion and the local taverns. I know Don had lost his spirit for awhile, and now he can be at peace, as I hope that you can too. I will always remember him for his birthday because we were always at the bar celebrating since my birthday is June "0th. He was always full of such fun and laughter. I am sure he is cutting it up once again the house of our Lord.
