My greatest condolences to those who love Scooter. He was my student in 6th grade at Maitland, and was an unforgettable young man. He was filled with energy, humor, and an enthusiasm for life that encouaged all around him to be positive and happy. I was so taken with Scooter as a student that I named a dog after him! God bless his family. You are in my prayers at this time of loss. Karen Murray

I often think about spending time at Ed & Shirley's house when they lived a block away from me in Maitland -playing with LeAnn, David, Steven & Scooter. Scooter won every single bike race. Such a great family - I will never forget you. I am so sorry for your loss. Kim (Long) Swyers

It is our prayer that the Lord Jesus Christ grant you peace of mind and to hold you in His arms as you go through the grief of separation. May the Lord bless you and your family. Ed & Shirley's home was my second home. Sometimes my first home. Scooter & I shared many great experiences with each other. And even though life & circumstances have put time & distance between us, the home remains present and close to the heart forever. Being a part of this family shaped a part of the kind of person I am today. My thoughts are with Ed & Shirley today. My thoughts are with the family. I will remember Scooter. He will be missed.
