Craig, Laura, and Family Sad to hear about Jean's passing. She was such a nice lady and of course great mom, grandmother, and teacher. Please know we are thinking of you and wish you peace and comfort. Wayne and Tommie

Craig, Laura and families, Your mother, grandmother and great grandmother was the best of friends to everyone she encountered, but especially young people. Aunt Jean's community involvement and warm bright spirit made her an incredible role model, but mostly she took such personal interest in each of us. So many memories of Christmases in Maryville, reunions and gatherings, our visits to Rockport when their house was built, and your visits to Cherokee. I see both Laura and Craig in her eyes. A life well lived. Much love to you. - Julie Corken Zimmer

Craig, sorry to hear of your mother's passing. I have fond memories of her teaching kindergarten in her basement and I think she might have been a den mother for cub scouts. Thoughts and prayers classmate.
