Jeffrey L. Gray, was born January 3, 1966, in Maryville, Missouri. Jeff passed away Friday, September 7, 2012, at his home in Rock Port at the age of 46. He attended West Nodaway High School, Burlington Junction, Missouri, graduating in 1984. He also attended Northwest Missouri State University, Maryville.

On September 22, 2000, Jeff was united in marriage to Holly Chambers at the Westboro United Methodist Church, Westboro, Missouri. To this union, two children were born, Wyatt James and Cheyenne Leigh. They were later divorced.

Jeff was self-employed in the construction business, serving the entire Atchison County area. For a few years, he was employed by Davis Concrete, Rock Port. Recently, Jeff was in a partnership with James Smith in construction.

Jeff was an excellent, loving father whose first concern was spending time with and taking care of his children. He was an extremely hard worker, a man of his word and a generous friend.

Jeff’s grandparents preceded him in death. Survivors include, son, Wyatt James Gray; daughter, Cheyenne Leigh Gray, both of Tarkio, Missouri; mother, Mary Beth Gray, Burlington Junction; sisters, Jodi Davison and husband, Dewayne, Rosendale, Missouri, and Jolyn Jackson and husband, Andy, Hopkins, Missouri; brother, Jarrett Gray and wife, Jennifer, Burlington Junction; uncle, Doyle Gray and wife, Sheila, Burlington Junction; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Memorial Service:
10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 12, 2012, Westboro United Methodist Church, Westboro, Missouri.
A private family inurnment will be held at a later date.
There is no visitation.
