Kristina “Kris” Ranae Traughber, the daughter of Ferrell Kim and Judith Marie (Stubbs) Herrick, was born November 17, 1963 in Maryville, Missouri. Kris attended Tarkio High School, Tarkio, Missouri, graduating in 1982. She then attended Northwest Missouri State University, Maryville.

In 2019, Kris met her best friend and companion Mark McIntrye. They spent four wonderful years together.

Kris was employed by US Bank, Tarkio, as a Bank Manager. Due to health concerns, she retired in 2015. Kris loved life and enjoyed having fun. She enjoyed going for rides on the bike and spending time with her friends. Kris loved her friends and family, especially her grandson, Max.

Kris passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at Community Hospital-Fairfax, Fairfax, Missouri, at the age of 60.

Besides her parents, Kris was preceded in death by numerous grandparents. Survivors include son, Trenton (Ashley) Traughber, Peculiar, Missouri; grandson, Ferrell Max Traughber; brothers, Mike (Rhonda) Herrick, Westboro, Missouri and Shelby (Jeff) Herrick, Kansas City, Missouri; aunts, Kay (Mike) Lane, Kathy (Bob) Hanrath, Kolette Orsatti, and Kenna (Roger) Levings; niece, Carmen (Pete) Benton; great nephews, Jameson Kim and Chase Timothy Benton; best companion, Mark McIntyre, Burlington Junction, Missouri.

Funeral Service: 11:00 A.M., Saturday, December 9, 2023, Westboro Methodist Church, Westboro, Missouri.

Open visitation will begin 10:00 A.M., Friday, December 8, Davis Funeral Home, Tarkio. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 A.M., Saturday, prior to the service.

Interment: High Prairie Cemetery, Elmo, Missouri.

Memorials: American Cancer Society.
