Leon, old buddy; When we were younger we played cards at Joe Blashko's Gas Station, and spent time in the Wilmes Repair shop. I learned so much about mechanics and life from you and Frank Boeney. Leon would call me and I would call him, about our problems, and talk, what a good friend you were. Up to the end, even after the divorce we stayed good friends. You had your neck surgery, I would call and ask about it as I had to have the same thing. You will be missed.

Our hearts go out to the family especially Bob, Mindy, and Hannah, the struggle has been hard but he is finally at rest - he was a wonderful man, with an incredible sense of humor and caring for others. We feel blessed for knowing and having Leon in our lives and he will always hold a special spot in our hearts!

To All of the Family, I am sorry to hear of Leon's passing, but at the same time since he could not be well, I know he is no longer in pain. I can't come to Rock Port due to a pending knee surgery. I plan to go to MN for the burial if at all possible. My prayers and love to all, Barb
