I’m so sorry for your loss. I remember playing in the barn at my home place in Rock Port with Lyle as kids when your family came back for one of your many visits. I remember him as always having a smile on his face. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

I am very sorry to hear of the sudden passing of Lyle. Lyle was a very quiet guy who was very easy to talk to. He loved his LA sports. I got the pleasure of being in Lyle's company during his trips to Boston to visit my mother, Janet. He was a part of the family at the dinner table when he came to visit during the Holidays. Lyle will live on forever in my heart and be missed. Christopher Bettano

I am very sorry to hear of the sudden loss of Lyle. I am Janet Bettano's daughter-in-law, I had the pleasure of meeting Lyle about two summers ago. He and I sat outside alone and my memory I will always have of him was when he looked at me and told me how sweet I was and that I hope I know now I am family to him... it was so sweet... rest in the sweetest of peace Lyle, You were a kind soul.

I will miss Lyle at the family reunion this year. I was so happy that he won the family history quilt in the drawing. I know how much it meant to him. I have the picture of him and I together with the quilt that I made. The infectious smile he had on his face showed his happiness. So sorry as cousins we lived so far apart, but learned to love him at all the reunions that I got to. Rest in peace Lyle, we all loved you.
