Sorry to hear of Marcy’s passing. Though I didn’t know her well I have memories of her and her siblings at many a swim meet. Great childhood memories and a great family. Thoughts and prayers to the entire family.

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Marcy. Growing up in Rock Port, I had such a crush on her... of course as most of the boys did. Prayers for the whole Boatman family in this difficult time.

I'm Deeply saddened to hear that the world has lost Mrs. Marcy Ann (Boatman) Buckles. I had the honor and the privilege to have her as my 6th Grade teacher at Nodaway Holt RVII Elementary School during the 2002-2003 school year. I have so many memories of her and my time in her class. I would like to share a couple of those memories during that year I got sick and was out of school for two weeks. I came back to school with 100% of my assignments complete and Mrs. Buckles was so impressed she decided to give a speech to the entire class about my work ethic and dedication. I will always remember and appreciate her doing that It made me feel great and empowered, she didn't have to do that but she did so thank you Mrs. Buckles I also remember the time we did the Ty-Bo workout together that was my introduction to that workout. My sincerest condolences to her family, friends and the countless students that she had during her life and 29 year teaching career. she left behind and impeccable legacy that will never die!!!! God bless and Godspeed Jared Curtis Wellington

The Newcomb family wishes to extend our prayers and condolences. We have dealt with the relentless disease of cancer and know the tenacity it requires to fight it. Marcy did this gracefully. The world has lost a bight sunbeam and will be a darker place without her. Bless you all.
