I worked with Maxine at the hospital. I was blessed to have known her. After I retired, whenever I saw her, we always greeted each other with a hug. She was one of the sweetest women I know and she will be missed. Love you lots, Maxine. Prayers for her loved ones!

Our deepest condolences to family of Maxine Porter. Aunt Maxine was a great Lady, and my favorite Aunt. I have so many fond memories of her. She had a heart as big as the universe, and a firm hand when we were being little brats! I always loved going to Her house, and being with my cousins. She made everyday fun. As an adult, I always had the utmost respect and love for her. I will truly miss her, but I know I will see her again someday soon. To my cousins, my heart aches for your loss.
