To Mr. Lee Roy, Tyler, & Austin: You all were the best neighbors we had in Marshall! I'm saddened to hear about Mrs. Mona's death. I remember great times with the family and I'm so glad that I still have all the crocheted Barbies she made me among other goodies. I regret life hasn't brought me to MO, but I look forward to reuniting with Mrs. Mona in heaven. Peace, blessings, comfort, and condolences to you all during this time.

LeRoy and boys, so sad to hear of Monas passing. My prayers to each of you. Mona was one of my favorites at the dental office and since my retirement at school functions in Shenanandoah. She always had a big smile and very friendly. She will be missed by many.

So sad to hear this news. I haven't seen or spoken with Mona for many years, but I knew her when we were kids. She was a fun person to be around, and we shared many interests. Very pretty smile and sense of humor. I will always remember the fun times out on their farm in Missouri, where we kids were allowed to eat oatmeal cookies for breakfast and run around the farm all day. I have a vivid memory of catching fireflies on summer evenings and just enjoying the peace of their farm outside Stanberry. My sincere condolences to all of the family who have lost this innocent and loving soul.

I had the blessing of getting to know Mona while employed at First Christian. She was as beautiful inside as she was out. Always a smile, encouraging word, a laugh. Sending my sympathy to all. God bless.
