Raymond and Betty were always such Wonderful neighbors to Mark's Parents. I would go visit with Raymond in the resthome when my Uncle was there. We always had nice visits. When the Cox family came to Rock Port in 1960 so that my father could begin service as the pastor of the 1st Christian Church, Raymond and Betty were among the first to welcome us. I remember spending quite a bit of time in the Horton's homes, and I have very fond memories of times with Raymond, a quiet man, large in stature, and gentle in spirit. May his soul forever rest in peace in God's glorious kingdom. Betty and Jerry will surely welcome him home.
