Judy, Jerry, Jon, and Julie, I am so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. Even though I didn't know her personal I feel like I did with my conversations with Judy and Jerry about her. I loved it when she would be with you Judy and I would yell and wavy "Hi, Judy, Hi Mom" and she would give me that little smile and wavy back. I commend all four of you for working together to keep your Mom in the comfort of her home these last years and especially to you Judy for the years, days and hours you unselfishly cared for your Mother as her main caregiver. May comfort be with you all in the coming days. God Bless and Love you!

Dear Hennings, My condolences on the loss of your Mom. I hope you are able to celebrate her life at the same time you grieve her loss. Her legacy lives on within each of you. The joy, laughter, and hospitality you have all shared with me are a tribute to a woman who raised a family that reflects her love and generosity and values the important things in life.

Judy, Jerry, Jon & Julie, Our years growing up as neighbors have always been special to me. Many fond memories of going to Tarkio to swim; school activities; our folks playing cards; being followed home by a creepy guy from the Five Mile Corner south of Maryville & the wild ride we took trying to catch up with my Dad while riding with Judy and Bill; that night something eerie followed Judy, Jerry & me to your home following a basketball game in BJ. Your mom made it look easy to have a household of 6. Memories of your original house with the log cabin inside. Ruth was a special woman in my youth. I did not know she & Dad were in South Dakota at the same time! He was there (Carthage) from age 3 to 15. His family moved to MO in 1933. I will think of your Mom on my Mom's birthday (10/13). May your memories of your Mom comfort you and fill that empty spaces we encounter when our parents have passed. Sincerely, Janet
