Oh my I just found out about loosing Wendell. We shared many hours and conversations sitting at farmers markets. Remember the two of us going to city counsel in Shenandoah to get an organized market in the city. He loved visiting customers at the market. In later years I would see him at dialysis in Shan when I would bring my husband for his. He never lost his upbeat personality with all his medical problems. I remember asking him once if he ever had trouble getting a ride to dialysis and he said—“ No my kids are really good to me”. To all his kids and family I am so sorry for your loss. Wendell was such a good man.

I only knew Wendell when our paths crossed when we were both doing rehab in Shen and that was often for both of us. I was so sorry to learn of his death because he fought so hard. My thoughts are with his family.
